Free and anonymous counseling to help military personnel and their families strengthen relationships and overcome life challenges. â€‹

Social Wellness Services: Short-term counseling for relationship issues at home and work, stress management, deployment/reintegration issues, handling grief and loss, discrimination, anxiety. Except for certain "duty to warn" situations, no records are kept.

Chaplain

100% confidential spiritual care and counseling for Airmen, their families, Guardians, and other authorized personnel, whether religious or non-religious.​

Social Wellness Services: Counseling for relationships, workplace issues, sexual assault, grief, transition, deployment, legal, bullying, ethical and moral issues, etc. The Chapel also provides religious services and fellowship (worship services, weddings, funerals, memorials, religious observances and all spiritual care). 

Dover AFB Family Advocacy Program (FAP)

Mission: Is to build healthy communities through implementing programs and policies designed for the prevention and treatment of domestic abuse, child abuse and neglect, and Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth (PSB-CY).

Domains: Social Wellness-Connection; Physical Wellness; Psychological Wellness; Self Connection and Personal Growth.

Social Wellness Services: New Parent Support Program including a Weekly playgroup meets during school year, Family Advocacy Strengths-Based Therapy, Postpartum Stress Support Group, Treatment for Victims/Offenders of Domestic Violence. Classes offered regularly include Parenting Education Classes; Separating and Divorcing Parent Education Class (mandated by the State of Delaware); Relationship Red Flags; 5 Love Languages; Dad's Class.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPR)

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPR) is a DoD-wide quality of life program for victims of sexual assault crimes that provides the following services:

Restricted Reporting - Maintains Confidentiality - NO INVESTIGATION - Report MUST be made to SARC, healthcare provider, Chaplain, SVC or Victim Advocate ONLY.

Unrestricted Reporting - INITIATES INVESTIGATION - Whenever the sexual assault information is given to mandatory reporters (Chain of Command to include immediate supervisor, 1st Sgt, Commanders, OSI, Security Forces) or when the victim wants to proceed to investigation.

 

Social Wellness Services: SARC assigns a Victim Advocate who is trained to provide crisis intervention, information and referral of on/off base helping agency services to include support through medical and legal proceedings.

Free, confidential services intended for: Active Duty, Federal Service Civilians, and their eligible family members, and Retirees

​

Environmental Wellness Services: Provide military and civilian complaint processing for allegations of unlawful discrimination that fall within the purview of the Civil Act Rights of 1964, Title VII. Those protected categories for military members are race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual harassment, sexual orientation, hazing (effective 1 Feb 19), and bullying (effective 1 Feb 19). DoD civilian employees are also protected by the previous categories, along with age, disability, reprisal for prior EEO activity, pregnancy for sex discrimination, and genetic information. In an effort to promote an environment free from unlawful discrimination and/or harassment, the EO Office offers conflict resolution methods through mediation and facilitation utilizing the Alternate Dispute Resolution Program. Team building and specialized training (i.e. focus groups, cultural awareness, etc.) are also provided in an effort to deliver all levels of leadership preventative measures for a more cohesive environment with effective communication.
